Diabolik is no legendary figure nor a hero. He is an adventurer with a talent for crime.
He is very resourceful and has the most modern equipment. Using masks and disguises
he can change his face and body in order to look like any person.
His greatest opponent is inspector Ginko from Interpol, who has taken up the task to
protect the society against this genius criminal.
The eternal battle between good and bad.

The Italian comic series "Diabolik" is about Diabolik, a ruthless and cruel thief who does not hesitate to kill anyone
in order to accomplish his goals. In this he is supported by his partner and lover Eva Kant.

Often he wears a skintight black body suit that leaves only his (very distinctive) eyes exposed. Diabolik does not
use firearms. His main weapons are daggers and knockout gas.
Diabolik often uses masks and disguises and he always drives a black Jaguar E-type.

Throughout his adventures, he is pursued mainly by inspector Ginko from Interpol. The series mainly takes place
in and around the fictional town of Clerville.

The series of Diabolik comics is one of the most popular Italian comics series.
The series was created in 1962 and is still running, with more than 900 titles released.
The series already sold more than 150 million copies and is one of the best-selling comics series in Europe.
There are several video games and there is also a movie, titled "Danger: Diabolik" .

Besides the original Diabolik series several Italian spin-off series were released, like:
- "Eva Kant"
- "Il grande Diabolik" (1997-) this series is also still running
- "Diabolik Extra serie" (2006-2007)
- "DK" also known as "Diabolik alternativo" and "L'altro Diabolik" (2015-2017)
